The S. S. Wicked Marrow is captained by Michael Darling, who has been creating creations from an early age. His first cartoons were published in the elementary school newspaper and he continued publishing art through his years at university. The rest of his time was spent writing fiction, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, Ray Bradbury, and Madeleine L'Engle. After graduating to Stephen King, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Jim Butcher, Michael published four novels and became a #1 bestselling author on Amazon twice. He's also worked in roles as diverse as producer for a major video game developer, scriptwriter, high school English teacher, and professional magician-slash-illusionist, which are the answers he gives for the popular social game "Three Truths and an Even More Unlikely Fourth Truth." 

Now, Michael is focusing on board game development, borrowing a page from other lone wolf creators such as Ryan Laukat (Red Raven Games) and Dan Hallagan (Kayenta Games) and wrangling the duties of game designer, writer, and artist. The results are forthcoming! Stay tuned.
