Nothing Artificial. Ever.
I could have released Novel the Board Game in 2024.
It seemed like such a gift. Just as my board game design was coming together and I was trying to decide what to do, I tried it. It was so fast. The results were consistent and polished. All I had to do was type words. I’m good with words. And it was fun. Add a phrase here, edit a word there, and boom! A brand-new result in just seconds. More professional than something I could put together no matter how many hours and hours of work I might put in. Machines are faster than humans.
But the dream was a faulty one.
There Is No “I” in “Team,” But There is “Me”
There’s nothing wrong with building a sense of community and teamwork on a team. Ideally, every member of a given team has a well-defined set of duties to leverage their specific skills. A project gets done optimally when everyone focuses on their areas of responsibility and plays their role to their strengths.
What if your team is just one person? Luckily, if anagrammatically, there is a “me” in “team.”
According to statistics, 81% of people want this game
If you hang around people who like reading novels, sooner or later the question will be asked, “Have you ever thought about writing a novel yourself?” Apparently, a lot of people have thought about it. A quick search online shows that anywhere between 81% to 97% of people feel the desire to write a novel someday.
